The Twilight Sad will perform at the Mogwai concert

10.10.2008

The Stimul alternative music festival will host another major performer on November 15 at Archa Theatre. In addition to post-rock legend Mogwai and the experimental duo of Kieran Hebden and Steve Reid, the Scottish indie-rock sensation The Twilight Sad will be returning to the Prague stage.

The critically acclaimed foursome from Glasgow last year debuted their album Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters in which they expertly combine indie-rock drama and post-rock indulgence. Their musicianship is wedded to a feeling for catchy but never trivial melodies and clever arrangements. Vocalist James Graham has also given the band a significant touch – a thick Scottish accent.

Seen live this Scottish band's energy is literally deafening. Their performances are reminiscent - in the words of a foreign reviewer - of the soundtrack to delirium tremens.

The concert will be held on November 15 at Archa Theatre. In addition to The Twilight Sad, Mogwai (Scottland) as well as Kieran Hebden and Steve Reid (UK/USA) will be performing.

Tickets for CZK 650 Kč are on sale at Archa Theatre and through Ticketpro and Ticketportal (subject to a booking fee).

The concert is organized by STIMUL in collaboration with Charm Music.
