Archa Theatre to co-organise the 2007 Stimul festival
This year, the Stimul music festival is moving to Archa Theatre, where over the course of four evenings in October the latest trends in contemporary music will be on show.
Over three October weekends (from the 6th to the 21st of October), Archa Theatre will host four evenings devoted to diverse styles of contemporary music. This year the festival will focus mainly on progressive electronica, noise and various forms of improvisational music. The festival will even include hip-hop, alternative, of course, from the group Dälek, who will appear in Prague with a special expanded line-up. Other stars of the programme will be the German electronic post-rock trio Kreidler and two guitarists with cult status; The dark magician of guitar noise, Keiji Haino and the guitar legend Fred Frith, a key personality of the Rock in Opposition movement and John Zorn’s legendary group Naked City.
