Get re-energized at this year's STIMUL Festival at the Archa Theatre!

This is our lineup: ANBB (DE) (Blixa Bargeld/Alva Noto) – 16.4., Thomas Ankersmit (NL) / Phill Niblock (USA) - 9.5., Stian Westerhus (NO) - 13.5., Ignaz Shick (DE), Claus Van Bebber (DE) - 27.5., Oneohtrix Point Never (USA) - 29.5. See you there!

The annual Stimul Festival, which for the past seven years has attracted the most important figures of alternative and experimental music to the Czech Republic, will this spring present music of various genres and current music trends. The biggest draw will perform at Stimul on April 16: Blixa Bargeld – lead vocalist of legendary German band Einstürzende Neubaten – together with electronic Alva Noto in the duo ANBB. As always, the Stimul concerts will take place at the Archa Theatre. The festival will also feature a new series of lectures and workshops with leading music experts.

This year’s festival will newly feature opening lectures and workshops for anyone interested in the contemporary music scene. These events will be free of charge at Archa and will take place before each concert. Visitors can therefore learn from music publicists about current music trends and better place the concert they will attend into context.
